Floods Where's the Ark?

Many of my motorsport friends in Australia are being inundated with rain and flooding, with no end in sight it seems. Driest continent on earth? Australia has plenty of water, it just falls in the wrong place, most of it up north and everyone lives down south, and all at once. We should have listened to Bradshaw, or built a California aqueduct. If we can pipe natural gas from the NW Shelf to Perth, why not water? When they opened the Ord River dam the grand old Dame of the family who owned the cattle station on which the dam was built said when looking at it full after one season, "but we were always short of water?"

It's due to the "wet" and cold weather conditions in Australia in October that the MotoGP A-list have complained. Its the wet, cold and wind at Phillip Island that they "desire" the GP moved to the beginning of the racing calendar. And NOW the games begin.
